Tucked away in the idyllic Bruce Russell farmhouse; Guernsey Mint Refined, a trading company with a very unique offering, is bringing a little slice of the city to the quiet Guernsey countryside. Trading solely in precious metals, they have developed a comprehensive trading package for their clients that is based on simplicity and functionality; all wrapped up with the golden reputation that the Russell family have cultivated during their decades in the industry.
Such a unique company requires an equally unique Managing Director. When I meet the man in question, I am bowled over by his infectious enthusiasm and almost tangible passion for the project. Our interview is squeezed in between meetings, conducted at 100 miles per hour, and leaves me honestly buzzing. Yes, I just got caught up in the whirlwind that is Robin Newbould.
